To celebrate its 100th anniversary, UPS (world leader of express delivery) asked fashion designer Karine Arabian to create a purse at the image of the "UPS" woman. We had the opportunity to have some women try this purse for a week end. It was love at the first sight : they were all seduced by its padded leather structure, decorated with a golden metal touch. In between purse and travelling bag, the YOUPS XXL model is wisely loaded with pockets here and there, so that you'll find all the necessary space to store your pesonal belongings. Its large dimensions will allow you to carry your notebook, your camera or your MP3 player... The quality of this purse is excellent, almost perfect in every little detail. However, its natural weight tells much about the quality of the employed materials. A nice quality that could prove tricky in case of long distance transport by hand. Produced in limited numbers, this purse will be sold starting from December in the Karine Arabian stores in Paris, Marseille, Rennes and Metz. For all the Karine Arabian fans not living in the aforementioned cities, here is the good news : they will eventually be able to customise their YOUPS by ordering their own unique version of it on the Karine Arabian website, just before being delivered by the UPS delivery service! |
