Swan Lake, the excellence De Beers makes up a collection of High Jewelry
It is often the same ritual when I’m bringing her in the Grand Opera in Paris. Tonight is the last performance of this magical show called Swan Lake. She is sad but doesn’t show that emotion. The last representation of a ballet is a moment that I had to fill with a magnificent jewel issued from a knowhow and expertise that only a big diamond name could bring me, De Beers would be it.
In my jacket, I hold this treasure, a case on which this great jeweler included his letters to give her that smile I love so much. With this gift I seal my love for this lady full of beauty and generosity. Walking through the streets of Paris, I have been looking for this exceptional ornament. And then the unbelievable happened. The brilliance of these diamonds challenged me, called me and charmed me. De Beers, the diamond specialist invited me to a rehearsal of a famous ballet presenting me with this new and sumptuous collection called "Swan Lake". How could I resist? With 120 years of experience, De Beers and its artisans organized before my eyes, an interpretation of this famous ballet. In addition to the 4C standard adopted by the major jewelry houses, De Beers showed a difference that I think is a mark of respect and a proof of the commitment of the De Beers House for perfection. This distinction is called Shine and dials the fifth criterion for the realization of a De Beers jewelry.
After a short introduction into the world of the House, I could hardly expect another sign of destiny. Before my eyes, the ballet of my bride came to life in this collection know as "Swan Lake". The diamond is a piece of art and its power carried me in my memories. I had to decide, to find the perfect dress but the beauty of each piece was so great that I could not decide. Before my eyes, the first set was representing the fierce and passionate steps of the dancers. The sensuality appeared as evidence observing the magic necklace. And then, caught by the brilliance of the beautifully set diamonds with semi-enclosed yellow gold, white or pink, my eyes slipped on the stones of exceptional purity. The size of each one was modified. Cut into oval, baguette, marquise and pear-shaped, the diamonds gave this first set of fine jewelry, a fine elegance.
The marriage of stones and styles is the foundation of this collection Swan Lake by De Beers. The rows of diamonds reminded me of the dancer's steps of my girlfriend. As each of these actions, the diamonds were full of grace and seemed to mark the time as if pause the choreography of this famous ballet. Yellow pear diamonds, baguette-cut white, gray or oval stone with one extreme orange, the second act of this Swan Lake collection was a perfect harmony. The soft pastel shades came in to question me, remembering the elegance of my fiancée’s steps. Harmony was still shining, making me think of this ballet I used to watch during preferred rehearsals. I then embarked on a journey through sensuality watching this necklace displaying a semi-closed set particularly original. By marrying the forms of each diamond, the white gold, yellow, pink or black reminded me of the valuable, accurate and necessary work for the composition of a ballet and such a collection from De Beers.
And then, reflection of the elegance dressing of the purest diamond selected thanks to the know-how of De Beers, this line of white stones on white gold was the final act of this ballet of Haute Jewelry. It was also the perfect present that would symbolize my love for this woman that means more to me than four acts of this famous ballet she beautifully performed, more than anything. Taking this detachable pendant between my fingers, I felt it would be perfect. I then added it to this white gold necklace set with pure diamonds to make the pledge of my love. In my case, the necklace is about to sublimate her neck. The curtain will fall. This is the last performance of the ballet, but also the new act of love that De Beers and its sublime Swan Lake collection that will come alive when I will access the backstage to make it slip on her skin, a sign of eternal love, a De Beers diamond.
