watch Omega Apollo11

A pioneer…

For 160 years, OMEGA has been inspired by its pioneering spirit. After taking part in six lunar landings, having created the only watch in the world to be equipped with a certified marine chronometer and having served as the official timekeeper of 24 Olympic Games, OMEGA pays tribute to the famous Speedmaster Professional Chronograph which Buzz Aldrin was wearing when he became the first man to walk on the moon.

Omega, inspired by lunar achievements!

In tribute to one of the greatest technological successes of humanity, Omega takes its inspiration from the colours of the moon and the control unit of the Apollo 11 to create a model limited to 1,969 pieces, a number recalling the extraordinary event.

With a 42 mm satin grey titanium case with a sampling of gold, the watch has a black PVD face with a 30-minute, 12 hour and small seconds dials. Specially manufactured using a laser to create texture, the face visually disappears to leave the spotlight to the scale marks, hands and other hour indicators in 18 K red gold. And for those who count on taking it with them on their lunar excursions, the sapphire glass is scratch resistant.
